All Are Welcome
St. Peter's Lutheran Church is located in Holyoke, Massachusetts and it is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
We offer two services every week: 7:00 pm on Thursdays and 9:30 am on Sundays.
All are welcome here. We believe that the gospel is God’s gift to all people to be shared unconditionally without regard to age, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family configuration or relationship status, socioeconomic status, mental health status or physical or mental abilities. To those have felt excluded, we extend a particular welcome in Christ’s love.
Our leadership is made up of a Church Council responsible for governing and providing oversight of St. Peter's affairs. Our Council includes an executive committee consisting of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer; as well as the chairpersons of the Standing Committees and the Pastor. Each person in his or her particular role is committed to the vision, mission and values of the church and functions in accordance with our Constitution and Bylaws.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the final authority for elections and all major decisions rests with the Voters' Assembly at our June and November Congregational Meetings.
In short, when you find your spiritual home with us, you're finding a community for you to trust, learn from, and participate in.
